BREEDER`S PARADE OF HORSES
Destination Equitation in the Hills of Headwaters Breeders' Parade -
Orangeville Downtown Main Street, Saturday, September 11th - 9am to 10am
Destination Equitation (an undertaking of the Hills of Headwaters Tourism Association and with the support of Ontario Tourism) will be hosting a Breeders' Parade in downtown Orangeville as part of our 8-day celebration of equestrian excellence in the Hills of Headwaters. Destination Equitation takes place from September 11th to September 18th throughout the Hills of Headwaters region and will include Private Circuit and Public Circuit Stable Tours, the Breeders' Parade of Horses, demonstrations, a farrier competition, clinics, workshops and interactive activities. The Breeders' Parade will take place on Saturday, September 11th from 9am to 10am and will include horses of different breeds and disciplines. We are approaching all of the breed associations in Ontario in hopes that they will be interested in participating in our Parade to demonstrate to the general public and equine enthusiasts alike the diversity of breeds found in and around Ontario. Benefits for participating in the Parade include logo listing on promotional materials, booth space during the equine fair on Saturday, September 11th & Sunday, September 12th at the Orangeville Fairgrounds, and an opportunity to do a 20 minute demonstration to showcase your breed to the general public (audio available) during the equine fair. Associations interested in participating in the Parade will be asked to display a banner in the Parade and horse/horses that best represent your breed and the discipline that your particular breed is best used for. For further information or to participate in the parade, please contact

Diego Bravo Clinic, date to be determined
Dear Members, I have been in touch with Diego Bravo, the Columbian trainer in Florida, who is still interested in offering a clinic for us as well. He now has his US Residency, so there's a greater chance that he'll get a visa to come to Canada. Before he goes through the hassle of applying, and before I go through the hassle of organizing it, I'd need to know if you'd be interested in attending a clinic with Diego. If we did it this year, it would be a second one, and would take place in August or early September. Another alternative would be to plan it for next year.
Please let me know if you'd be interested in his clinic this year, and if so, would it be as a participant or as an observer. The cost would be pretty much what we planned for last time, around $225 per rider for the two days and $60 for observers.
Happy Trails! Helen Notzl (416) 975 9424
